Kevin Crocombe / Director Fond of modern languages, he learned French in Bourail, New Caledonia at a French private school L'Internat du Sacre Coeur. New Caledonia is a French colony in the South Pacific. Thanks to this he is well placed to know that learning languages must be a game, an adventure, fun... He is a great believer in learning vocab not by repetitive rote learning, but by using efficient memorisation and visualisation techniques.
Julia Watson / German Specialist Born in Germany in West Phalia, she has been teaching German for many years in the U.K., both privately and in schools. She has lived in England for 30 years and works with us to develop our pages on learn-german-help and also our Cd rom courses. She is our translation Specialist for German and she is highly experienced in German Grammar and Vocabulary.
Odette Crocombe Born in New Zealand but spends most of her life in English speaking countries, she always "swims" in a multi-language environment. Fluent in Swiss-German, she has also studied Spanish and has a working knowledge of French. She is also a qualified CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching)teacher in the United Kingdom. She shares with Kevin the belief that learning languages is not just about learning vocabulary but also involves becoming aware of the cultural environment and events of a country.
She particularly enjoys meeting people of different nationalities.
Germain Tottet Originating from the French Riviera, he has studied Languages and Economics for four years. He lives between Marseille and Nice, and brings his personal knowledge and experience of France to our website. He has been working with us since May and has assisted us in building French-related web-pages including French movies, conjugation lessons and facts about French-speaking countries.
Maud Wojcik Hailing from the north-east of France near the Swiss border, Maud has studied applied modern languages and business studies at University for four years. After a work experience in Spain she decided to work for us in the U.K., to share her knowledge about French and perfect her English. She is our Grammar Specialist and works to provide you with easy and fun lessons to avoid common errors of French grammar. Maud is 24 years old and speaks English, French and Spanish. She is also trying to improve her knowledge of Italian and German.
Albin Vidal Albin originated from Normandy in the north of France, where he lived for 10 years. His family then relocated to the French Riviera, mainly to enjoy the warm southern climate. He has first-hand experience of both northern and southern French cultures and the differences between them. Albin has been involved in developing and optimizing our web-pages, bringing a lot of first-hand information about 'being French' and the French way of life. He's 23 years old and had finished his degrees in International Trade and Marketing. He has been a member of our company since March 2004. Albin speaks French, English and Spanish and also tries to practice some Japanese. Pavel KASPEROVICS
He's one of our more recent artists. Originating from Latvia, Pavel has worked a lot in his country illustrating editorials for local newspapers. He arrived in England in July 2004 and has shown us all his drawing and caricaturing skills. Some of his work will be featuring on our webpages and also in our 2nd-tier CD courses currently under development.
